"Sometimes we find something by accident, an object appears out of nowhere, in our path. Something that lands in front of us, without any association; an
object whose use or aim is unknown. We are attracted to the unknown, the strange, to a certain strange beauty inherent in the found object. 
So, we become attached to it, we keep it.
These are the feelings I wished to evoke with this “missing object”. Something beautiful, that cannot be explained. (…)
This object is a solid wooden block, with two handles, carved in the thickness of the wood on either side of the object.
