Florence Knoll

American designer Florence Knoll studied architecture at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. Her meeting with her future husband, Hans Knoll, was decisive in her career. Together they founded Knoll Associates, which within a few years gained international recognition. A pioneer of the Knoll planning unit, she revolutionized the design of interior space.
