Biography

Mado Jolain, a French ceramist and designer, is renowned for her ceramic creations from the 1950s and 1960s. After studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, she worked for Parisian haute couture houses, providing them with fashion accessories. She later settled with her husband, the painter Renée Legrand. Together, they collaborated and exhibited in numerous Parisian galleries. Mado Jolain’s works are recognized for their creativity, combining aesthetics and functionality.
