Biography

Cini Boeri, born in Milan in 1924 and passed away in the same city in 2020, was an architect and designer.

She graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1951. After a long collaboration with Marco Zanuso, she opened her own agency in 1963, dealing with architecture and industrial design, paying great attention to the relationship between man and environment.
In the field of design, she created several products for the publisher Arteluce.

Several of her works are housed in museums (MoMA, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, etc.) and international exhibitions. In 1979, she won the Golden Compass for the Strips sofa, designed in 1972 for Arflex...
